I think it would be really cool to explore the David android character. Michael Fassbender is a an amazing actor with a specific knack for this type of genre. I really think if Ridley is going to make one more Alien prequel he should make Michael Fassbender's David character the center of attention. Ridley is old and getting to that point in his life where extended line ups of prequels just doesn't make sense. He should continue with what he started in Prometheus and doing something fresh and rejuvenating for the franchise. Even though I wasn't a huge fan of the prequels including Prometheus I think he has something super interesting going on that could be really cool if it goes in the right direction.

Covenant ends with David, 2000 colonists, and two facehugger embryos. It's set 16 years before Alien: Earth. Presumably, David would allow them to build the colony only to infest it. Are we to believe the Maginot collected its eggs from the aftermath or will they pretend Covenant never happened?

You can make so many movies using that same styling and they're automatically a step above modern movies. It's too easy when you can fly everywhere super fast, easily communicate with a micro transmitter across great distances, help is just a few hours away, technology is all microscopic and AI powered. The more it strays from that, the worse it gets. Both Alien and Aliens made it a huge pain to get to a planet, descend to its surface, and get back up. In other movies it's a trivial non-issue.
