>Be superman>Can travel at near light speed>Loses to a person who talks to another person who then inputs the notation that gives command to another person on what to do
>>214146884The Silver Age silliness I could accept, but that was the dumbest part of the movie, Superman spends all of their early fights standing there sandbagging like a Logan Paul opponent.
>>214146884If the problem is that Superman doesn't fight at light-speed that's a problem with every single depiction of the character. There are plenty of times in the animated series for example where he gets knocked back by super slow attacks.
>>214146884Just say you don’t know shit about Superman and Lex.
>>214146884Superman is only as strong or as fast as the plot requires.
>>214146952Fall asleep during part where said Lex had studied Superman for years, likely using AI? You know boxers watch fight footage of their opponents for the same reason?
>>214146952>standing there sandbagging like a Logan Paul opponentkek this description is so accurate
>>214146998Hard agree.>>214147031And you think just because you know someone's next move, you are fast enough to react if they move at near light speed? Not to mention the clone is taking command from someone who is also taking command from someone else
>>214146884you don't seriously think he was using his full power?
>>214147145Oh, ok. So might as well not even make a Superman movie because nothing really can challenge him outside using Kryptonite all the time. It’s this type of idiot thinking that mostpeople think Superman too powerful and boring
>>214147301>Strawman argument + shifting the goalpostLmao I don't even want to bother explaining to you. Have a nice day, jeet.
>>214146884The entire Ultra Man arc was retarded and yes, there's too much delay between verbal commands and inputting the attacks.
>>214148265imagine playing a fighting game like that.
>>214146884that was so fucking lame, nigga got his ass beat the whole movie and worse, got carried by his fucking dog everytime
>>214146884When did ultraman talk
>>214148827If it was Toyman instead of Lex Luthor, it would have been 100% fine. On brand even, especially when Ultra Man is in his Mega Man suit. But Lex would have used mind control. Or, honestly, he would have kept working on the cloning process until he got a proper Superman clone that didn't need direction. A lot of mischaracterizations in this film.
>>214148909>beaten for the first time in the beginning by ultraman>beaten by ultraman again>focused on saving people vs the Kaiju and let the justice gang handle it>turns himself in to save Krypto>exposed to Kryptonite gets fueled by a fake sun and escapes >swims in a river of Anti-proton and pushed a Black Hole with his breath>beats The Engineer>Krypto disables the drones and beats ultraman
Was Lex's goal to kill Superman? I feel like he had multiple opportunities in the film.
>>214148916In his dreams of Krypton as a baby. Full recollection is one of Superman's powers. Kal El's memories begin in as Jor shoots his load inside Martha on Earth.
>>214146884>>214146992>>214149570Where is the kryptonite meteors in this universe? Clark has been on Earth for over 30 years. He had to have come across some kryptonite in that time. Why hasn't Lex looked for it in those 3 years since Superman's debut?
>>214146884Gunn's Utraman is just Nuclear Man with Black Noir from the Boys mixed in.
>>214146884Yeah that was my biggest problem with the movie.Lex having to shout command codes to control Ultraman is totally stupid and nonviable. There would be too much delay even if Superman didn't fight at high speed. It was just so Krypto could do something funny at the end. They probably could have come up with a better workaround, but it would be too complicated for American audiences.
>>214150444Supes threw it all into the sun.
>>214150527I was thinking more like Nuclear Man mixed with Evil Superman from Superman 3.
>>214146884>"A1 steak sauce!!!"
>>214146884Name one time Superman has traveled at the speed of light within the Earth's atmosphere.
>>214146884I barely remembered the movie.. but did he ever move at Lightspeed once?
>>214150527Ultraman suit is just Doomsday containment suit
The only issue I really had was that they over did the amount of exposition. It makes the story feel really hollow for a summer blockbuster. Also makes some scenes seem unnecessary and pointless. Why include all the lovey dovey family stuff if it's gonna be a flavor of the week type episode/issue style movie.
>>214146952The inputs have queue, so he sends them earlier and they get immediately executed after the previous one
>>214151797Yeah. I thought of Doomsday as well. Maybe the clone didn't die in the black hole and instead will return at another time all deformed and actually be Doomsday.
>>214146884>why are these comic books movies so stupid?I wonder if they are more or less dumb than the comics.
>>214152202Or he won't come back as Bizarro
