I really liked it... But man, Aronofsky is such a weird director. Most of his films are pretentious auteur crap (The Fountain, Black Swan, Mother!), then he shifted to intimate drama with The Whale, and now he's doing this little action thriller with hints of comedy. They speak about death in a cavalier, sterile, calculating manner, and never have a sense of regret one second about anything that they do because in their eyes the people they killed are mere goys. They even have the chutzpah to use the MC as a literal shabbos goy near the end of the film, where they try and pilpul him out of being mad at them for killing his gf when they make him light their cigarettes using the novelty pistol lighter that they looted off her. He ends up killing them by crashing the car he's driving them in because they aren't wearing seatbelts due to Shabbos.
