I think the best thing to do is maintain eye contact and say nothing while grabbing something that could be used as a lethal weapon (fork, knife, cup, plate). I wouldnt engage in any form of conversation with this person.

Maybe say once for him to leave the table and we arent interested then nothing. If he takes the first swing, since you're seated youd need to absorb it, but at that point you vs 4 guys its going to be unfair, so hopefully you can seriously injure the main guy and the other ones get scared off, for example stabbing him in the eye or throat. Obviously he would have to initiate the violence, however, given the content of what hes saying you might just be justified smacking a coffee cup into his sphenoid bone then mashing his face with it, but it would be better to avoid physical conflict for everyone of course.
