How come there has never been an attempt to adapt the actual Ian Fleming 007 books to cinema?

Is there no audience for a period accurate and more realistic spy film?

Casino Royale more or less adapted the book faithfully, adjusting for a contemporary setting of course.

>james bond books
>realistic
Yeah about as accurate as Lord of the Rings is to the actual medieval period. Jesus Christ you're a mongoloid retard.

Casino Royale was okay, almost kino, but then the sequels went in the same action dude blowing shit up direction of every other spy flick.

every James Bond movie from now on should follow the You Only Live Twice/The Spy Who Loved Me/Moonraker/Tomorrow Never Dies formula.
I'm not saying those are the very best Bond movies, but that's the most consistent formula if you aren't adapting a Fleming story. Roald Dahl hated the YOLT book and ignored it when writing the movie. TSWLM book is from some woman's perspective. Moonraker had to be changed into Star Wars. TND isn't based on anything. They range from very good to great.

>guise how come nobody made a le more realistic version of le books
Because you're a le fucking nigger brained savage who doesn't realize the movies are already about as realistic as the books are. What's in the stories that is left out of the movies and adds in any realism? I won't bother waiting because there is none.

I'm not going to entertain your trolling any further. If you think the movies are good adaptations of the novels, good for you. Take care.

They ALWAYS claim they're going back to the roots and never do. Yeah, because 007 was a Black woman. Broccolis, please.

>Broccolis
She (Albert R. Brocolli's daughter) doesn't own it anymore, she sold it to Disney I think it was

If they did this with just one of the stories, they should do Moonraker since they didn't use any elements of that story in anything except for the title and the name of the bad guy.

I actually own it. Bough it from the yids a few years ago. Working on making bond a lesbian tomboy Japanese qt who hunts down evil girls and tribs the evil out of them. It will have no blacks or fat people.

yes since the last film. im talking about films that already exist.
