I finally watched this yesterday and is was so SO much better than /tv/ led me to believe. every day it becomes more and more apparent that 4chan is becoming dumber and dumber, especially with shit like this>>214174122 that doesnt even make sense >>214175645the vibe i got from it was that it was about how nihilistic journalism is the entire central point is the veteran journalist slowly unravelling and realizing she cant be the soulless tough chick, it starts with her acting hard talking about photographing your dead friends and how emotionally disconnected you have to be, then hits a turning point when she deletes the literal photograph of her dead friend and realizes she cant be a soulless husk anymore. then it ends with her completely losing her nihilistic objectivity and getting herself killed, all while the rookie journalist becomes increasingly soulless and unhinged and careless, to the point where she is trampling over her dead friends body to get a good shot without a second thought even though she just died to save her ass honest to god the central theme to me was literally about a journalist becoming human again and a bright promising young girl becoming a journalist, and that journalists are not human
