The Penguin was the best thing they’ve greenlit in years and I’m remised they cancelled The GCPD, Catwoman and Arkham series they had planned. And I’m gonna have to wait another 2-3 years for the Batman part 2 to come out. Christ, Pattinson is going to be 50 by the time his trilogy is over. The Joker movie should’ve tied into the Batman and tied into modern day. Maybe without Joaquin since his gotta be pushing 60 now. Regardless it’s just gay that we got James ‘boy lover’ Gunn to helm the entirety of the DCU when arguably Reeves has a better success rate doing DC content. I would’ve loved to see how the different storylines and characters could be done in the gritty realism of The Batman.
