By far one of biggest problems with the EU was all the jabba wankery, making him the ruler of all hutts when what we saw was a small thug that controlled a desolated planet at best. There shouldve been thousands of hutt way more powerful than jabba. It would be like the don of the mafia was ruling from a small town in the middle of arizona.
The clone wars and disney repeated the same mistake.
