I just watched season 1 of this. I only liked the scenes with the Cleons/Demerzal and Hari. Is it worth watching the rest of it? The other characters were boring enough that I'll probably just jump through their scenes.
Yes. The second and (so far) third seasons are much easier to get through than the first. The Cleon storyline is fucking kino, the Foundation storyline is a lot more tolerable, and you'll actually find out what Gaal is all about.8/10 would recommend.

The empire, emperor and Trantor should be over and done with by the time holo-Hari is telling the Foundation people about the crises. Demerzel should have completely disappeared. The basis of the books is what the Foundation faces in the decades(?) AFTER the empire is fallen and finished.
