Nigger im taking about psychological reasons for being in that life in the first place. He has empathy, comes from a middle class family. Most people into drugs are not big time meth cooks. Sometimes i think middleclass are better at dealing than lower class just based on education. Maybe he had a small mind and didnt aspire to much other than sitting around alll day and drugs was how he figured out to live his lazy lifestyle. I do think sometimes the poorer you are the more drive you have to better your life. Maybe he was simply spoiled.

I think Jesse was adhd. If you look at any time the reference him when he was a straight edge(sober) kid he was a drawing pictures and had dreams. But adhd kids have trouble staying on the same thing no matter how much they love it and drugs(especially weed and meth) make us feel focused but in a different way normal people feel when they smoke meth or take adderral(adhd medication). Plus being a teen smoking weed and realizing it’s not that crazy not even alcohol tier crazy and the fact it’s treated equally as bad as meth and cocaine(it used to be and still is treated this way in some parts) you naturally go “what else were they lying to us about?” And now you have to personally witness a month long meth bender and going crazy to realize it ain’t like weed. This happened to me and all my friends. We aren’t all adhd but I am and when we all tried ice I was lucky enough to have severe adhd and the effects were almost entirely opposite of what everyone else felt. I thank god every day I didn’t get addicted to it like some of my previous friends. And the buddy who went the hardest in it weirdly had the most supporting parents it looked like. Like Jesse it seemed his family was normal but behind closed doors maybe they were just too strict and smoking meth for Jesse(not just my bro) was some form of rebellion or coping with pressure from his parents.
