I bought a wii u and they discontinued it immediately lol. I got a switch last year mostly for the kids and it's been fun. We're moving in the next month so I'll bring the wii u out of the closet and they can play smash brothers and mario kart which I did not rebuy since I got fucked by nintendo killing the wii u.

It combined the DS's gimmick with their Wii console. Too bad the tech wasn't there yet, but they tried again with the Switch, refining the gimmick, and here we are. No 2 screens, but the Switch is basically their best selling console ever.

>>214191071Wii U has a great library. Pretty much all the great Switch 1 games were Wii U launches. Might still be able to get a bunch of those titles cheap. Wind Waker HD still hasn't made it to the Switch as far as I know..
