I paid for AMC A-List this summer because I did the math and saw there were at least 2 movies per month that looked like they were worth seeing, which justified the $20/month cost
imagine wanting to randomly go on a whim and having to pay $18 fucking dollars for a single movie, that combined with movies hitting VOD and streaming within 6 weeks of premiere has decimated the theater impetus
