>>214204267Best Zoe Lund film right here
>>214203964Alice Sweet Alice
>>214204267>>214204376>Lund was unapologetic about her heroin addiction. She wrote at length about heroin and advocated it for legal recreational use in the United States, as well as romanticized its effects.[11] "She loved heroin, she was killed by heroin," Ferrara said on her heroin addiction. "...Zoe was one of these people who thought heroin was the greatest thing in the world, and she did until the day she died. She was down on coke, down on everything, but you know, heroin was the elixir of life for her."[10]>"I've known a lot of serious drug users, but Zoë was Queen," Richard Hell, a friend of Lund's, recalled in 2002. "You've got to admire someone as committed to it as she was. She didn't just LOVE heroin, she believed in it."[1]>Lund died in Paris on April 16, 1999, of heart failure, due to extended cocaine use, which replaced her long-term heroin use after her move to Paris in 1997.[9][3][4][6][21][22] She was 37.[11][2][4]What do I make of this?
>>214204456She looks like post-bogging Anya.
>>214204456She was a narcissistic autist, so it's not surprising she used drugs to cope.
>>214203929spawn is a horror movie though
>>214204456That she shouldn't have betrayed heroin for cocaine.
>>214204557Not nu-metal
ok time to check out what Koji's been up to. this is House of Sayuri 2024.
>>214204692my dad said it's nu metal a f*ck and he was actually into that stuff back in the day
>>214204456That heroin is so fucking good people are willing to die for it, so you better stay away.
>>214203929isn't Queen of the Damned supposed to be the nu metal film
>>214204267>>214204376>>214204456Tragic beauty btw.
>>214205006Your dad gaySpawn is industrial, grunge, alt rock with a little dusting of east coast hip hop. >>214205046Eh maybe it was the intention but i dont think the execution is there. It's kind of like calling 90s metallica thrash metal
>>214204456I bet her favorite album was Dirt by Alice in Chains
>>214205093I've never actually seen it. When I think nu-metal I think>BWP 2>Freddy vs. Jason>Dark Castle films
>>214205224I think Strangeland has the most numetal songs
>>214205278Never even heard of it>written by Dee Snider>starring Robert Englund and Dee Snidercool
Michael Myers is a killer sharkin baggy ass overalls
>>214205300It's alright, it's definitely one of the most late 90s movies ever made.
Watched The Fly today and I honestly don’t even know what I think about it. It has some cool effects and Jeff Goldblum was pretty funny in a campy way and I liked the baboon. I think I just wish there was something more too it. It was straight up just a little bit of body horror and then it ended. It’s not bad, but I think it could have been great if they added a bit more maybe? Like maybe Goldblum captures a bunch of people for his machine or there’s a twist. It definitely needed something.
>>214205301michael myers is pretty nu-metal when you think about it.
>>214205392Watch the original, the one with Vincent PriceAlso watch The Fly 2 (the sequel to the Goldblum one you just watched), which is surprisingly good
>>214205427Oh cool okay thanks!
>>214205398Yeah the lame kind like that not the cool kind like Sevendust
>>214203964Skinned Deep has a cute young actress in it. Watch Skinned Deep, if you liked TCM2.
>>214205427>RETURN OF THE FLY>RETURN OF THE FLY>WITH VINCENT PRICE>YEAHHHH RETURN OF THE FLY

>>214205278I remember liking this, but thinking Dee Snider's acting sucked

>>214205625I've read that it's a similar feeling to laying around in the sun
>>214204121>female coworker keeps asking me for film recs>she really liked mandy and possession>have to use all my willpower not to recommend this so I don't get sent to HR

>>214205392Wtf are you talking about, it's one of the saddest most heartbreaking films ever made.
>>214205625I've heard that if you try it it becomes like a sixth sense, like a hunger that didn't exist before but then won't go away.
>>214205840Sounds like when I discovered masturbating
>>214205873kek
>>214205665I've read it makes you feel the most comfortable you've ever felt in your life, like a thousand fluffy blankets enveloping your whole body inside and out.

>>214205006How old are you?
>>214206204She is so loveable, Cailey Spainey
>>214205746I just wiki'd that film and apparently it belongs more to /film/ than /hor/. It was released on dvd in the states too, so what is the harm?
House of Sayuri was a pretty wild entry from Koji. It's like a misery porn film crossed with a comedy horror. Understandably people are like " that doesn't work 1 star worst film ever" but by the end of it it's endearing how earnest it was.
what an ugly unlovable freak who wou.... WUHHHH
Watched Let The Right One In last night. I think it's a good movie that I just kind of didn't care for. Can't really put my finger on why.
>>214207674Now you must watch Let The Wrong One In
Now that autumn/Halloween season has officially started, (You) got your watch lists ready? I am still working on mine but will post when i am finished. Oh and yes, it started yesterday on the first of September. October first season start is over.
>>214207861I just download 2-4 movies the day before. I never know what I might come across, so I leave my schedule completely open.
>>214207861I have the ones I'm gonna watch lined up for October, but also a bunch of spaces for new films that are gonna come out.
>>214206148Would relentlessly hatefuck this cat-killing bitch.
RIP
>>214208355Same but for the mother
>>214204557The horror is the FX.
>>214208530More people should watch this.
>>214205639The concept itself is utterly wasted. They could've gone totally hardcore but there's barely anything more than some failrl tame restraint let a lone serious gore, and this a mere six years before Hostel. The story itself is mostly a generic revenge plot.
>>214207219Looks better with the glasses.
>>214208530another "that guy" actor whose name I didn't know, but I recognize him from a bunch of stuff

>>214203929The first two Resident Evil movies and the first few Saw movies are nu-metal core.>>214207861I never watch list because my train of thought is so erratic I won't even be in the mood anymore for what I had watchlisted. I just wing it on the day.
>>214211414Me one day :)

>29 days until Oct 1
>>214212443
>>214212443Humidity has died off here. Temps are now in the high 70s to low 80s. Fall weather is slowly starting to move in. 6 months of pure comfy kino is upon us.
>>214207861>listsNigga I have movies running day and night here, the only time I need an itinerary is when we get into the home stretch and I need to make sure I don't miss anything essential. I'll watch 30 or more Hammer kinos before the calendar even hits October. The new NoES box set is coming out soon, I'll binge all of them. I have hundreds of movies just in my slasher genre category on my personal server alone (you do have separate categories for your horrors, right?). I will be lucky if nonstop kino marathons for 60 days packs everything in.>make a listPlease. You are like a little baby.
>>214211414god i wish that was me
Turns out people weren't ready for this movie and it's finally getting some deserved recognition now. Good, it's kino
Just watched shitty X. 1 h for the shitty story until someone died. They also shoot porn but you see no nuditiy. What a fucking waste of time.
>>214212443No, manSeptember is Halloween Season 1
summer has come and passedHalloween is coming fastwake me up, when September ends
>>214213134I love Barbara bouchet so much
>>214213134That scene is based.
>>214207219I wonder what she looks like now.
>>214213347X is pretty dull, I never got the hype for it. Just wasn’t provocative enough in terms of imagery and by the end it just turned into a stereotypical slasher with all the tropes that came with it, like the killers silently teleporting behind you despite establishing very early on that the old guy could not go far without getting winded. And what little provocative imagery they do show off is so tame>is that…is that any old killer couple having missionary sex?! AAAAAAA IM GOING INSAAAAAAAANEFor what it’s worth though Pearl is a far superior film, and I don’t just mean within the context of this series either; as a stand-alone storyline it’s pretty entertaining. Don’t watch Maxxxine though, it’s so dull and takes none of the lessons learned from Pearl. As a giallo inspired film it’s a murder mystery with zero sense of urgency.
>>214213347>he unironically watched X
>>214213134Hottest scene in a giallo movie ever, sorry Dario. It's not too late though, you can make a movie where Asia does /ss/ coombait next.
>>214213588>not starting halloween in September so you have an extra month of itWew lad
>>214214068>you can make a movie where Asia does /ss/ coombait next. This but co-starring Becca channeling her Pennywise energy.
>>214214132This but extending it into november instead.
It's already September 2nd and I don't have enough spooky shit planned for the fall this year
>>214214540Pls anon I have no idea what costume I want
>>214214540I'm going all-in on horror anime this Halloweenhonestly, I wasn't really into it before, but I’ve seen some dope stuff posted here and figured I’d give it a shot
