In the books it will likely pan out the same but with the help of Victarion all with a sudden deus ex machina by Dany and her dragons arriving. She will probably head to Westeros maybe in the final quarter of the book, which will likely be around 1400 pages, only to find that Kings landing has already been conquered by Aegon
