Fuck it, I'm a straight man who loves chick flicks and I'm tired of hiding it

Is this considered a chick flick?

I wouldn't call it chick flick.
It's more of the calvinist slop drama about sacrificing everything for the job and tolerating vile cunt of a manager/boss for some hidden lesson resulting into success.

My ex was exclusively into chick flicks (and Mexican soaps because she was a latina) but I actually really liked picrel. Not sure if it can be called a traditional "chick flick" but it has a female protag and has a ton of young adult female-pandering shit in it. Unironically a decently entertaining and well-made movie though, and some nice scenery of the Carolinas.

Movies in the 90s/00's were just good. Even the movies for women were good. What a time.

I was positively surprised by Mean Girls.

This is a genuinely good comedy (and peak early-mid-2000s comfinesss) regardless of age or gender, which is wild considering it's entirely female-based
