As of this moment, I am officially reopening the X-Files thread.
>smokes menacingly
>nerdy desk jocky boss is actually buff and mogs MuldletKino twist.
>>214210898Just watched that episode. Kinoooooo
Not to me mention the Susan B Anthony dollar.
>>214211212Its a good move to have an actually authoritative authority figure.
>>214211241Their death was so lame and rushed.
>*farts*>Skinner, I didn't join the FBI to chase lights in the sky with Mulder here, I joined it to shoot NIGGERS>also your office smells horrible, what have you been doing in here?
>>214210898The "lore" episodes are the worst part of x-files

>>214210898Gee, what a surprise. What is this, the 700th time now? Good old predictable Skinner.
>>214211212
As of this moment, I am officially reopening the KKK-Files.
I'm watching an episode about the government giving people psychotropic chemicals along with subliminal messaging through electronics to get people to commit violence.
I just wish that every single ending to the franchise didn't suck horribly.
>>214212242Fucking wild episode
Most unsettling episode? The one I always remember is the one with an office shooter about to kill his boss who people think is schizo including Mulder, except his boss is in fact a shape-shifting monster who is mind controlling his employees and slurping out their insides and almost does it to Mulder. The hospital scene made me shit myself as a kid.
>>214212332the grey sewer mutant that came on a russian boat because it was really horrific looking
>>214212332Which episode?
>>214212320Yah. Crazy way to start the day lol.Think I might go to the library and get a book. Take a break from the screens.
>>214211156>Skinner is his errand's boy>Cigarette Man is the errand boy of the elite groupI thought that was a nice touch. He's just a covert operative who answers to people too
I haven't made it past the second season. When Anderson got pregnant show lost most of its lustre. I dont get the mommy love.
>>214211156>Hey Smoking Man, that cigarette smells disgusting>*farts*
>>214210898'Gatsby' the main character from Californication season 2 has a minor part in X Files season 1 episode 15.
>>214212381"Folie a Deux", just looked it up and I probably wouldn't call it scary nowadays but a giant shadowy bug monster that was going around eating people scared me shitless as a kid.
>>214212332The one where a girl tells Mulder and Scully that her dad raped her as part of satanic rituals, and her dad denies it, but they never find out the truth because a demon who may or may not be Satan himself comes along and makes the girl and the entire satanist gang kill themselves. The ending always especially affected me because it just ends on Mulder and Scully standing around made to look like a couple of clueless and useless assholes who had no idea what they were dealing with.
>>214212670any sex scenes?
>>214212670This was always the scariest episode for me, demonic shit just hits different.
>>214211381why was Scully so racist btw? I remember the time she called Toombs a "filthy wop shitheel". I mean, wtf?
>>214212332Anything involving some sort of virus or insect related phenomenon. The worm that made people kill each other in alaska in S1, the night time fireflies in the pacific northwest that swarmed people and put them into cocoons, the volcano spore, the bees smallpox
>>214212368Yeah the wormman. "Flukeman" haha. Most fucked up thing ever on network TV probably.
>>214212446CSM was the only elite willing (or able?) to roll up his sleeves and get his hands dirty.
>>214211627They would easily find the kids but Gladys would probably get away. Supernatural brothers merc the bitch in a half hour.
My most rewatched episode because it's so comfy. What's yours?
>>214212873I think CSM was the only one with an intelligence/military background which is why he answered to that corporation of business conglomerates looking guysThere's a similar get up in the film Executive Action (1972), I figure that's where the inspiration comes from
>>214210898
>>214212963
>>214211212Gymcel anons, what’s his routine?
>>214212242That was one of those episodes where they were really ahead of the curve on anticipating conspiracy schizo talking points.
>>214212457Seasons 3-4 are peak
>>214211156I love the little touch in Musings of a CSM where they made the cigarette a metaphor for institutional corruption and cancer man getting groomed into that world.
>>214212924Probably The Unnatural. Very comfy episode with some very sweet Mulder and Scully moments.
>>214212924I'm still on my first watch through so I haven't revisited any specific episodes yet, but Quagmire stood out as probably the perfect archetypal MOTW that's both good fun and good character drama and very comfy, so I would definitely watch that again. The Darin Morgan and Vince Gilligan eps also feel like they would have great rewatch value.
>>214213177He drinks 1.5 gallons of milk a day, full fat with a pint of heavy cream added, and does nothing but squats and deadlifts, 4 times a week. His physique is obtainable if you start training from age 12 in about 5 years, or from age 20-25 in about 10 years. If you're 30+, it will take 20 years. Keep drinking milk and doing heavy lifts, and you'll see positive results.
>>214212670Which one was this again?
>>214213517Die Hand Die Verletzt
>>214212670>a girl tells Mulder and Scully that her dad raped her as part of satanic ritualsThat scene was so well done
>>214212332"Saguinarium" always creeped me out, with the doctors/surgeons possessed by a witch mutilating and killing their patients during operations
Every time I've tried to watch this series through to the end I've given up around season 4-5, does this happen to anyone else?
>>214213306he became Mr. World from American Gods.the metaphysical embodiment of spooks
