>>214219484In some ways yes, NY is pretty cheap and some parts are just boring but still it works pretty well, LA feels like a remake just like Evil Dead 2, and in both cases you see the sequels have lost a bit of the first's soul. But in defense of LA, it expands upon the universe and has a much better ending that redeems (saar) the whole movie.
I have mixed feelings on the ending. On one hand, satisfying. On another, Snake doesn't feel bad enough to be responsible for all the people that would die if the internet disappeared. He's just a hard motherfucker with a tough life, not an edgelord.
