People were blinded with nostalgia with the TFA when it came out, because JJ plagiarized A New Hope and very few people took notice. Based Rian Johnson was the one who made the blind worshippers notice that the sequels' foundations will never work. If he didn't ripped off the bandaid, JJ would've gone smooth sailings.
