Trying to find the name of this great little documentary/art film i watched a few years back and no search queries can seem to help me. It was a dark southern Gothic kind of vibe and the subject matter was largely based on town squares and highway planning in (I believe) Georgia or Alabama but possibly Mississippi. The narration had these wonderful repeated phrases that were something like "the clock is the center of the town square, the town Square is the center of the town, the roads lead to the center of the town" or something. It felt like the implication was something magical and ritualistic. Pic related is kind of the vibe. I think the film was from 2012-2018ish give or take. Any help you guys can provide would be awesome.
I have no idea what this could be but I would like to see it identified. It sounds really interesting.
AHHHH NOT THE BACKROADS! SAVE ME NIGGERMAN!
>>214226053was it one of those 20 minute long short films?
>>214226757No it was probably 45-60 mins but possibly longer.
>>214226053Small town city planning doesn't very much from place to place. Right? Idk what you watched but I'd try searching the Travel Channel. They air shit like this all the time especially as we get closer to Spooktober.
