I tried watching this and really wanted to like it because i love the other naked guns but...it was kinda, boring. The jokes are all pretty mid "Take a chair...no thank you i have chairs at home. 5 minutes of sceen , actress walks out, walks right back in "On second thought i will take a chair". Ummm...ok? I stopped it about halfway. I wouldn't say its bad just barely ok. Ish. Kinda.

Sooo, I guess the fixed the "digital" by adding grain and filters, so that was good. The acting was actually decent, you could see Liam and Pam doing their best to match the way Frank and Jane used to talk, especially Pam did a great job. I also liked the henchman acting and face expressions, great casting. But the pace of the movie was all wrongb - at times I just wanted to watch a serious noir film and actually forget I'm watching a comedy. Jokes were mind of bad too, especially thr monologues they tried to literally mimic off the original Naked Gun were just so flat and felt wrong. So yeah, not terribly bad, but not good either. Not actors fault though, mostly the writing. Oh and music was mostly totally off - I get it they were trying to be funny with it, but it was all wrong because it was way too serious.

The comedic timing of it was so perfect it took me a while to even realize it wasn't part of the movie. Made everyone in the theater laugh when they figured it out too, always go see comedies with a crowd if you can, made the experience even better

He whole thing is Smirk-worthy, but there are only really 2 or 3 jokes that will be enough to make you laugh out loud.The Police Squad series it followed on from was stuffed full of jokes, running gags, slapstick and sight gags in the background and much better in general. Not that the films are bad, they're still more fun than most comedies, but I would have preferred more Police Squad.
