>just strip away all the bullshit and artifice bro
>movie is literally the most maximalist aesthetic-driven thing ever

What did Jodorowsky mean by this?
>>
>>214246370
It's striping away your mental bullshit and artifice that is the idea of the movie in general.
What you mention is the way The Alchemist tricks those elites. You are not an elite so you shouldn't feel it's telling you, the goyim, to do the same as a good thing.
>>
Very cool movie, I watch when I need inspiration.
>>
>>214246370
It's self-aware of the fact it's all artifice, that's why it literally ends with a fourth wall break basically telling you to go touch grass
>>
>>214246597
anybody who says touch grass is a mental midget please lurk moar
>>
>>214246632
Regardless of semantics it's the message the film is ultimately pushing.
>>
>>214246646
can you say what you think what you mean with actual words though just for clarifications sake
>>
>>214246370
Surrealism doesn't need a message
>>
>>214246646
>he thinks there's a "message" in The Holy Mountain
You really are a mental midget
>>
>>214246370

You do realize that the movie works aesthetically as a bait and switch, expecting some visual psychedelic extravaganza, with the movie becoming more absurd as it progressed culminating in the blue ball moment if you only focus on what's le cool visuals. The shtick is kinda one and done though, so I think it ends up ruining itself but its sad that people like you fail to grasp the point its trying to make which also apply to movie snobs as well

If you don't have a solid level of literacy in the occult you'll never really get this film.

You're low IQ and aggressive. Your best use in a civilization is any occupation that involves an extremely high mortality rate for minimal compensation. You're slave caste tier.
>>
>>214247954
The explosion scenes were props. No froggies were harmed.
>>
It's so aesthetic that people post the same few shots every time

That particular idiom is pretty easy to understand. Are you ESL or just a retard? Also I think you need to add a few more buzzwords to your boogeyman. Oh shit... "boogeyman"... want me to explain that one for you?
