Watched Tenebrae again and I noticed Neal has an obvious superpower to turn invisible when he's about to kill. He kills the transexual in public daylight with tons of people around, he kills his agent in public with tons of daylight, and he kills the switchblade killer right in front of the detective and the detective somehow doesn't see him. Once stranger things ends this year I think millie bobby brown has a good chance at staying in horror themed works and perhaps maybe even being a scream queen protagonist. She seems to yearn to show off and these are the only movies where that's consistently acceptable as horror is sexy.

It tries to be like a Scream horror version of romcoms, but none of the jokes or gags are any good. “Haha look how silly and cliche we are” stops being funny after every scene in the movie is that. I haven’t thought about Lynch until recently this year when he died, but put off seeing his stuff. I saw the twin peaks movie years back at some independent theater showing and ya that alone was sort of enough for me haha. That said having now seen the TV series…. the movie doesn’t really make any MORE sense than it did then haha.

That part in lost highway where he's wandering his house in the dark. Is he going to see his wife cheating on him? A demon? An intruder? An angel? Is something gonna jump out or is this just what the next 20 minutes of the from are gonna be like??

The Winkie’s scene in Mulholland Dr. is another obvious mention. This is technically horror, so I'll ask here. I remember watching a short film on Youtube a while back wherein the most popular videogame was a VR simulation where you play a soldier fighting nondescript aliens/bad guys, but it turns out the players were actually remotely controlling drone soldiers and committing war crimes. The main character's drone got hacked and he could see what was really happening and it ended in the middle of his freak out with a soldier drone coming into his apartment or whatever. Also of note, the VR was accessed by wearing a ring and the people playing the "game" all looked doped out. Does anyone know what this was called?
