What is the most spoiled moment in TV history?
>>
>>214269366
Breaking Bad was such a dumb show. I'm shocked that people still talk about this shit
>>
>>214269488
Then let's see you come up with better, faggot. What kind of slop do you consider better?
>>
>>214269366
Han dying for movies
Anything from the last season of GoT for TV
>>
>>214269366
Thanks you for reminding me that I shouldn’t be here right now. I forgot people were spoiling the last episode of Dexter.

Lol, lmao
>>
>>214269366
I ran through breaking bad during COVID. I've seen this picture all the time. It it's never posted with context. So when I got to this point I knew nothing about what he was reacting to. So it's not a most spoiled moment because nobody ever spoils what happens.
>>
>>214269488
It was great, you idiots have shit taste and are dumb contrarians.
>>
>>214270848
It's objectively terrible

No, your taste and sense of quality is objectively terrible. It was a great show, with few flaws.
>>
>>214271041
It's a live action cartoon with cartoonish plots and characters. It's 100% slop trash

No, it's not. You're too dumb to understand Breaking Bad apparently. Which is not trying to be deep at all.
You just like critical sense as much as taste.

For sure. I’ve noticed that brown people who work labor jobs tend to not enjoy this show. It takes a certain amount of whiteness to understand it.

I will never understand why people still talk about it. I watched for the first time about a year ago, and my god, It's just so unbelievably overrated. It's not bad, but it's nowhere near the praise it deserves; there's basically nothing of real substance in that show, and it relies on cliffhangers the whole fucking way, instead of naturally developing the story.
>>
>>214270994
That and Ned. His head on a pole was everywhere in 2011. I didn't watch Game of Thrones until 2019 and those were pretty much the only spoilers I knew. I also knew Jon would end a season with an uncertain fate, but I didn't know what happened.
>>

Zoomers don't remember 9/11 and their unifying trauma was Covid.
It's why Millennials all are as a generation on the surface airy and outgoing, but on the inside reserved and mildly paranoid and Zoomers are on the outside mildly paranoid and reserved but have crazy active social media lives.

I can't even think of any TV plot twists that were widely spoiled. Usually everyone would sit down to watch the show when it aired and would learn the twist at the same time as everybody else. Spoilers would be if one guy had to tape it to watch it later and he accidentally found out how it ended, but those were isolated incidents.
Even when a show would air at different times on the east and west coasts you only had 3 hours to spoil it for people on the other side of the country, and you could only spoil it for the subset of people who had home internet access and also could not stay off it for a couple hours, which was a relatively small subset.
>>
>>214269488
Watched it for nearly 3 hours today and i'll do it again
>>
>>214271720
Obviously most brown laborers don’t get Breaking Bad. You need at least $20k sitting in your checking account just to pick up on the subtext. It’s a show calibrated for people whose biggest struggle is artisanal tile selection, not clocking in at a job site.

Remember when this happened.
>>
What was the most realistic part of this show? Inb4 getting cancer or a white woman being a cunt.
>>
>>214273103
Today?
>>
>>214271658
You do. Breaking Bad doesn't spoonfeed you. It expects you to pay attention and understand the science and chemistry. Like all thoseab scenes about temperatures and chemical mixtures and so on. The show expects you to think to appreciate it fully. The cartel side shows people engaging in the black market, who can trust who, politicking, and social dynamics. All while a man contemplates his death and tries to manage all this and a family. You being a low IQ nigger savage who thinks "durrrr think iz hard i no like" doesn't mean the show is bad. Your educational system failed you. Not my problem, you ignorant twat.
>>
It's ok not to like Breaking Bad. But to say it's a bad show is simply not credible. If you genuinely think it's a bad show then you likely just have dogshit opinions in general and are probably below average intelligence.
>>
>>214275417
Now that I think about it most of what happens in the show is superhero tier levels of realism, just reminds me of that magic explosion Walt threw at Tuco's building, worse is they never explained whatsoever wtf was that or even bothered to bring that up ever again in the show
>>
>>214269366

Oswalds transfer to the Dallas County Jail. it didn't go well
>>
>>214275604
>worse is they never explained whatsoever wtf was that or even bothered to bring that up ever again in the show

Yes they do. Fulminated mercury.
>>
>>214275506
I knew a guy that had the chemical symbol from BB tattooed on his leg. He was the most r*ddit person imaginable, the target audience of the show, if you will
>>
>>214269366
For me it was Daisy and Kelsey taking the limo TOGETHER to the final rose ceremony with Joey. That shit was crazy. Easily one of the top Bachelor moments of the past decade.
>>
>>214275703
Fulminated mercury literally doesn't work that way irl, especially not how it was depicted in that scene
>>
>>214275839
I know. But they do give an explanation about it and say what it was in that very scene. They didn't just ignore it and never mention it. Tuco goes out of his way to ask.
>>
>>214269366
Great another zoomers don't have any sense of an actual culture because they live all their experiences online and don't get that this was the perfect show at the perfect time and that sometimes even if something isn't all that great it just hits hard on a cultural level.
I guess this is the new normal though, get with the times grandpa's sovl and community is seen as cringe now.
>>
>>214275907
no they didn't thoughs
>>
>>214276123
I'm probably older than you and I used to talk shit about this show back then. Please get over the fact that you like literal low iq slop
>>
>>214276199
I just showed the scene where it does. At the end Tuco asks what it was and Walter says "fulminated mercury". Being scientifically inaccurate does not mean "no explanation".
>>
I liked Breaking Bad before it was popular.
>>
>>214274960
Man if I had a nickel for every time I've been in this situation...

>2012
>during the absolute height of game of thrones fever
>make a friend in college with some dudes, who introduce me to their wider friend group
>on the 2nd or 3rd time hanging out with the group, I notice one of the usual guys isn't there.
>casually ask where he is
>everyone starts rolling their eyes in unison and one guy snaps back at me "DUDE HE SPOILED THE RED WEDDING FOR ME AND WE GOT IN A HUGE FIGHT, HE DIDN'T EVEN DO IT ON ACCIDENT HE KNEW I DIDN'T WATCH THE EPISODE YET AND HE INTENTIONALLY SPOILED IT FOR ME"
>tell him I think it's kinda a dick move but what's the big deal it's just a TV show
>his face twists up when he hears "just a TV show" and he unironically starts going off about how GoT is high art that will be studied in classes and played in art galleries and how everyone involved in the series is a genius
>I kinda shrug and say "whatever dude"
>later my college friends tell me that the guy doesn't wanna hang out with me either
>>
>>214276535
The fuck are you talking about, are you having a stroke or something?

that was spoiled years after. actual book readers didnt spoil it and i was here in threads during that time. once people who watched the show started reading the books it became bad but not during season 1
>>
>>214276821
90% of posters on this board are like that kid but with capeshit.
The other 9% are like that with whatever other shows they like.
1% are normal.
Ignoring jeets of course
>>
i've never seen Game of Thrones. a guy's name is Hodor, 'hold the door'? Red Wedding? i'm guessing i'd hear random character names, 'oh that's the guy who The Mountain kills' or whatever.

people really, really would not shut up about everything that happens in Game of Thrones. not in a spoiler-y way: i just didn't care.
>>
>>214277364
Whoops, meant for >>214276546
Maybe it's me having the stroke
>>
>>214277524
you can see GRRMs vision, D&D actually said that they didnt want too much magic because your aunt and your cousin might be turned off by too much spookiness which is why they ruined Euron and Melisandre, etc
>>
>>214277550
>90% of posters on this board are like that kid but with capeshit.
Then how come 90% of all comments about capeshit/star wars always contain the word "slop"

I think this is the board that has the most hate for capeshit
>>
>>214277613
Because it's the new word that everyone uses, they call it slop then say
>This other capeshit is actually kino
They are just attacking as a way of defending their own slop.
>>
I watched Breaking Bad first time this year already knowing every major spoiler (Hank death, Gus death, Skyler cheating) but I was NOT prepared by how annoying and scumbag his retarded son was

Yeah this. Also got spoiled on Chris’s death but it was still shocking when it happens due to how out of nowhere it happens. Usually that kind of moment would be at the end of an episode but they put it at the start throwing everyone for a loop.
