This explains why Bruno stayed alive as a husk, Giorno captured part of his soul as it was leaving his body and retained a little bit of it. (this is standard in Jojo, when a main character dies their soul floats up to to heaven as a send-off). I believe Araki was taking the piss by having Giorno's stand interact with his own trope to create a plot device that seemed cool. >body moves mindlessly on its ownI think it's the opposite, the body is dead but the soul is alive(retained), that's why it does not bleed. He's a vampire, basically.The reflecting damage thing is a pure retcon, it's been proven he didn't know what to do with the stand in the beginning and changed it. You have to understand, each arc lasts for 5-10 years, plenty of time to reconsider Stand powers.
