The finale was kinda bad, better than new Blood, but way too convenient for Dexter. Writing quality went down in the last two episodes. The resolution of the New York Ripper case was stupid, what a pointless plotline.
I have to admit, the payoff to the "Staying Alive" bit got a chuckle on me.
