>>214310843One of the worst movies I've seen in a while. Not a single redeeming factor.
kino
>>214310857The actors were all good except Aaron taylor johnson,
look at her forehead
>>214310843It was okay. Everyone says Lily Depp was the weak link, but I think Bill Skarsgard is a bit of a ham.
>>214310905I actually think the whole cast a little off. Even Dafoe played it up a little too much. The direction was probably my favourite part, stylistically. Writing-wise, I think the story was a little weak, especially at the end. It was ambitious to end it the way the way they did, but it was underwhelming.
>>214310905>>214310940>I actually think the whole cast a little off. Even Dafoe played it up a little too muchThis
Style before substance. And she's a talentless nepobaby and not even pretty to look at.
>>214310940>>214310964yeah Dafoe is goofy-looking in general so he was off-putting. He kept getting height-mogged by everyone too lmao
It's kino.
>>214310843You first nigger
>>214310843Meh.
>>214310843Like all Draccula depictions so far only the start is enthralling, jist like the book.Willem Dafoe spoils this. But so does the the rest of the shit in after the start. When away from Transylvania the story is just religious brand wrong. I was lucky to have the great rip look amazing at the start, then half way through it switched to Russian overdub with an idiot student voice explaining as if involved.I stopped then. Aharing it preceented. The start was good enough to pay for the rest, but the resr was not nescessary and attatchment to the start degrades the start.Ibthink he direcor married a sychologist, sobI don't think much of him.Thogh I like Milo Morrie (Mirror Bo), and maybe some shrinks seeing the positive instead of issuing drugs and titles.Should be "pick me ups" solving priblems. Returning people to self, pressure said less as their valuity revealed to them, focused on loyal, threats fovued on a betrayal. Be who they are best for their lover. A taste of sex to get the list for life back.
>>214310940>On no this clear endeavor to emulate expressionist acting style was too exaggerated
Only movie I've seen with a positive portrayal of Gypsies
>>214311268They fucking rob him.
>>214311217Time to sober up
>>214310843It didn't feel like much of a horror movie, more like a gothic version of The Mummy (1999)
love it, but it's mostly a film for BPD hoes
>>214311217did your meds wear out halfway through writing your post?
>>214311290I don't do drugs. Yoir drigging effect only makes me hate you more and seperate selfand beauty form your cowaedice.
Why does every Nosferatu/Dracula movie turns into a cuckold story? Is that how the novel goes?
>>214311304you have to be joking
>>214311276Makes sense they are Gypsies after all.
>>214310843I didn't even know he was Jewish.
>>214311375Original Nosferatu was criticized fro anti-semitism
>>214311142Technically and logistically, this movie is an awesome achievement. The wind, the rain, and the darkness seem to do Nosferatu’s bidding. The force of the monster’s unknowable malevolence seems to distort the movie itself, making it shudder and break down. It’s made with the most modern filmmaking technology but feels like an artifact from another century, like one of those inscribed tablets that adventurers find in a tomb and insist on translating aloud even though there’s a drawing of a terrifying demon on it. It reminded me of being a child and seeing the original “The Exorcist” and feeling as if I was seeing a documentary record of evil, one that was itself cursed, and that I should not even be looking at, because by looking at it, I ran the risk of releasing that evil into the world.
>>214311334Yes. Dracula cucks Arthur by seducing his fiance Lucy and drinking her blood until she dies. Then Dracula cucks Harker by seducing Harker's wife Mina through drinking her blood and making her drink his blood.
>>214311304You can't make vampires actually scary anymore. You can make unsettling scenes with them but that's about it.
>>214310843It had potential. Great atmosphere, started off mysterious and tense, then it became super cringe by the time they were back in the city, and ended in a big nothingburger.2/5
>>214311914Pretty much
>>214311338It certainly had some pulp action adventure moments in it
>>214311914>ended in a big nothingburger.People dying is a nothingburger?
>>214312250>I'm le primordial evil !>Terror of terrors !>*has sex once*>*dies*
>>214312368the whole city was getting wiped out and people she was close to were getting targeted. The ending was unexpected as you wondered what they would possible do, at his coom-brain turned into his weakness that kills him. Absolutely brilliant filmmaking.
Maybe not all depictions (are bad, past the start).Copy paste from a thread where a post would be relevant, but undeserving of condemnation by traitors:1. Download the roms (games)2. Move the roms to another folder eg "GBA"3. Download the emulator (Retroarch)4. Download the "core" for Game Boy Advance (mGBA) in Retroarch5. Load the core6. Load content (Navigate file directory to file)7. When looking to play again game will be in history (3 lined icon next to home icon), and can be added to favourites.Sword of Manahttps://github.com/vbaemulator/GBA-Roms/raw/main/Sword%20of%20Mana%20(USA%2C%20Australia).zipCircle of the Moonhttps://github.com/vbaemulator/GBA-Roms/raw/main/Castlevania%20-%20Circle%20of%20the%20Moon%20(USA).ziphttps://www.retroarch.com/index.php?page=platforms>>214264247Undeserving of condemnation but brave enough to battle and bear it.Don't burn women.
eh janny, what the sigma?
>>214310843it was alright drop the ball in the middle female lead was fuck trash.
>>214311217
>>214312802>The actress didn't make me want to masturbate therefore she was trash
>>214310843-Visually great.-Starts out strong.then-Loses all steam with the reveal of dracula, which happens right near the starts.-Gets bogged down in meandering, tedious over-written dialogue.-Lasts far too fucking long because dracula speaks at 1 wpm.-Lily depp's face is hidous, she looks like one of those grey aliens that used to be popular in media in the 90s.>>214311304Oh come on now, .... what?
it was okay, not great but not terrible either
>>214311217based
Mogged by Herzog's adaptation. You can't beat Bruno Ganz & Klaus Kinski. That's as great as it gets.
>>214310857the two scenes inside nosferatu's grand chamber (when he arrives and when he signs) are decent

>>214310906What else is there to look at?
>>2143136983.6 roentgens, no graphite on Lily's forehead
>Entire family gets murdered. Your wife, and young children>Hours later, have a funeral for all of them>You're in a carriage where all your friends are talking about killing Dracula, and they start looking at you weird for spacing out>Apologize>They want you all in on their plan to kill a vampire tonight>Then they leave you alone to prepare>They act surprised when you just kill yourself instead
>>214310843Pure goyslop
>>214311249Just because they're trying to emulate something doesn't mean its good
>>214310843meh
>>214313593Dracula is not in the movie, retard.
>>214314758Nosferatu IS Dracula but they couldn't use the name because copyright reasons (which is valid even today as it's property of Universal Studios)
>>214311512Spoken truly. Also the movie is fascinating as a kind of sideways history lesson. It gives you a stronger sense than any previous vampire movie of the dread that “civilized” English people felt in Stoker’s time when they contemplated the supposedly spooky unknowability of Eastern Europe, with its fairy tale forests and huge wolves, and its people, who were viewed in the big cities of Western Europe as what modern academics would call The Other. (Gothic romantic fiction and horror fiction both emerged from this era and were so close to each other that there was a lot of thematic overlap, especially with the “tall, dark and handsome” archetype of the foreign lover who had a grudge or secret agenda and would destroy that which he couldn’t possess.)
>>214315043they're 2 different people and both faggots, just like you
>>214315361>people
>>214310843i loved it but mainly just for Skarsgard. i annoyed the fuck out of my friends and co-workers for like 2 months with my impression of the >YOU WILL OBEY THIS MY COUNCIL got pretty good at it too cuz i would literally just put the youtube clip on loop and do it over and over like the true tard that i am
>>214310843So bored by it half way through I turned it off and watched Coppola's Dracula instead.
