The meth business kills millions every month, and Hank in particular doesn't just stop Walt. He takes out Tuco and the Salamanca Twins effectively killing off the Salamanca drug empire, then busts Gus which is what leads to Walt killing him off in that way, taking out Gus' Empire and Hector, ridding the area of empires beyond Heisenberg's operations. He's easily the most successful DEA agent in the show
