Dexter's always been fast-paced toward the end. The Miami Metro characters had arcs and some B plots, but resurrection is all about Dexter.

I felt Prater was killed rather undramatically considering he was this seasons big bad. I almost couldn't believe that he immediately started begging for his life. It was far more interesting hunting and killing Gemini than what happened with Prater.

Cranking it out so fast is why there are mistakes like the clock on Harrison's phone showing the same time in scenes that are many minutes apart, and is probably why the songs tend to be obvious overplayed ones.This could be an upside of Original Sin being canceled, they can spend closer to a year making a season of Resurrection instead of just ~6 months
