The punk rock thing is some weird rebrand from DC that makes zero sense for the character but redditoids seem to love it.
>>
>>214320931
That face made me delay watching the movie for a few weeks. It seems like something Gunn would actually do.
The whole punk rock thing is just fucking weird, it's just Lois and Clark having this cringe and out of place discussion about bands they liked when they were young? Then Lois tells him he's too kind to people and he says maybe that's the real punk rock. It doesn't get brought up again so it doesn't even make sense that it became such a big part of the marketing.

>so it doesn't even make sense that it became such a big part of the marketing
It wasn't. Fags just cried about it so much that they inadvertently made it an iconic part of the movie.

Lex Luthor having no real motivation was the biggest fault of this kinda shit movie

It's a movie for children. He hates Superman and that's the only motivation he needs.

Also be sure to watch Peacemaker or you're going to be lost when the sequel comes out!

>be sure to watch Peacemaker or you're going to be lost when the sequel comes out
cause that worked so well for disney+ and the mcu
>>
>>214321870
This is different, this is James Gunn the savior of cinema!
>>
>>214321828
It's for general audiences which demands a lower grade of thinking than childens movies from 20 years ago because they are ESL and 85iq

Bro

Get your children watching drug use and orgies today or they won't know why Krypto is friends with an eagle in the next Superman movie!
>>
>Yeah let me just cancel everything that isn’t my own stuff. Also everything that isn’t made by me is NON CANON. Remember to watch Peacemaker! Sex! Sex! Sex!
Fucking christ Armond was right. Gunn is stripping away everything about DC. More irony slop yay.

they did though

Creators should stop interacting with fans. Imagine having to genuinely engage with manchildren looking to hold you accountable on your comic book movies continuity lmao.

Hey! Ayer's Suicide Squad is still canon. That's how we learned that Gunn's wife is so special and sexy even guys in committed relationships want her

>box office failure
>extremely divisive
>they are rushing out a sequel at breakneck speed so they can kill the DCU asap whilst saving face
Spectacular failures all around from the pedo, Snyder won and has a legacy that will live on forever

Oh good the shill is back trying to both sides a pathetic fan war
>>
>>214322651
Repugnant malefactor, you are playing a bad faith game by taking him that literally, the point is it is going to be cancelled in its early stages because it's a near unparalleled failure for what it was meant to BE. It gets cancelled in 2027 after the save face pity sequel for a PEDOPHILIC SCUMBAG WHO SHOULD BE IN JAIL. Kys you evil liar

That scene was the emotional core of the movie. Whatever happened to media literacy?
Clark is a wholesome farm boy who grew up as an outsider, an alien, he thought he was punk rock. Lois teases him about his music taste but when she sees his childhood bedroom she falls back in love with him, she realizes how sincere and full of love he is.
By the end of the movie he proves that being good to other people is “the real punk rock”, as in it’s cool and ballsy to do to be yourself instead of being a cynical loser like Lex.
