I like the idea of Maximus and how he acquired the armor, but I don't like the idea of him being a co-lead. The actor is fine but I don't really buy the chemistry between him and Ella. Everything on the surface should revolve around lucy as she is the Player Character, at least that’s how I see it. The audience should learn about and experience the brotherhood through lucy. Through her developing view of the world. And I get why she asks him to come back to the vault with her but It just felt flat, like another beat to trip over.
