And yea it's some degree of karmic justice but that is what you expect from Jurassic Park movies or any degree of horror/monster movies. The people that are rude, promiscuous,prideful or vain die first and or horribly. So to some degree I think what doesn't sit right with audiences is she's now sharing a fate equal to the toilet kill and the guy that stole the Rex egg in 2 or 3, the guy that gets torn in half by 2 t-rex's. For many decades the dorky unattractive guy was fair game in horror movies and always got an especially undignified death scene. Eddie's death in Lost World was one of the turning point moments where audiences started finding that off-putting, and from then on you started to see that kind of character live to the end credits a little more often, or at least get a somewhat more dignified death scene. In fact a problem movies have now is they make all the characters a little too sympathetic so that only the faceless henchmen can be killed off without upsetting the audience.
