It's just that it's pretty shit story wise but it's something, like you get cool action and some good acting, at least the younger Dexter and Harry.Is the easter egg when Audette was looking at old Miami articles and the Captain was there? There may have been some other ones too but not sure.I also fully expected that at least one original character from OS would now appear in Resurrection as an older version but it didn't happen.I would not be surprised about someone's prediction that Resurrection season 2 will have flashbacks with OS cast.

>>214402707I mean the issue with Dexter writers is quite clearly quality not lack of quantity. You can probably cut enough pointless side plot out of this series to make 2 whole extra episodes. Harrison's first girlfriend isn't really needed outside setting up why he stays at the hotel and why Dexter needs to scare a merchant. Blessings whole family are pointless after episode 1, Neil Patrick Harris didn't really serve any purpose, there's probably a ton more I've forgotten
