She had a great character arc albeit tragic. She was cute and innocent but grew a backbone, she didn't become a monster and retained her innate goodness. If you watch closely you'll see her ending had something poetic and unexpected about it if I recall correctly, there was a selfless sacrifice on her part in freeing all the survivors in the hospital from the tyrannical girlboss cop, and that includes the other cops under her rule even.
