>>214408130I remember when I was a small kid my family went to germany to buy my dad a new BMW car and during the trip we visited the bavaria film studios in münchen and visited the IRL submarine set of the movie. They had hoses that sprayed out the water in the hull like in the movie and you could use the mock periscope. Nearly 2 decades later I watched the movie for the first time and the memories of being in that same sub as a kid came flooding back. It enhached the kino to the highest degree.

The entire film was pretty tough, but the Under Pressure bit at the end fucking floored me. I am so mad with myself for not watching the last half hour in the theatre, I had to peace out to catch a train. Would've been a sobbing mess if I had stayed, ended up just tearing up.
