In Alien Resurrection at the end of the Special Edition directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet indicated there had been a devastating planetary event regarding the Xenomorph on Earth. Why was there never a follow up or sequel in relation to the Ripley clone character Sigourney Weaver had developed?A lot of people shit on Resurrection yet there were plenty of interesting elements that could have expanded the series in a fresh new direction.
