ITT: movies you felt like you were tricked into watching
>>214415576Buddy aces israel. This is the film that stopped ryan from being reddit
>>214415576Love this and the sequel. The clowns in the second one had me howling.
I dont miss the cringe era where everybody was trying to be "Tarantino-esque"
>>214415576but this film is kino
>>214415576pic related was dog shit. I should have known better, but I wanted to see goldblum be zeus and I didn't even get that.
>>214415717This came out well after the Tarantino copying era, Smokin Aces and Lucky Number Slevin are ripping off Guy Ritchie. Was weird to see Smokin Aces referenced in Chainsaw Man. Anyone ever seen Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead? That was one of the worst Tarantino-likes. The one where the college kids kidnap Christopher Walken (he plays a mob boss) was pretty good tho.
The hot black chick was amazing. I forgot what the big reveal was but remember ari playing cards.
The sniper scene was the sizzle of this movie.
Feels like it was just one step away from being actually enjoyable but it really wasn't.
Wasn't ray liotta in it as well?
