What's a show that you can think of that had an interesting concept and potential but pretty quickly you lost interest because of bad decisions on the writers or show runner's part? My choice would be my Name is Earl, because Season 3 basically sucks. This just feels like a filler season so far because the writers were out of ideas. I'm really not interested in the jail storyline and apparently Earl never finishes his list so I gave up on it pretty much. Any other shows that get worse overtime I should probably avoid?

I think it was meant to be watched on tv, when it was on. You would be scanning a bunch of bad shows on the guide, and Earl would be the least worst at that moment. It was one of those 'backround' shows like KOTH or Judge Judy. imo it wasn't meant to be watched intently like LOST for example. Just something that was on after work or school.
It was pretty good with cool guest stars.
going back, randy is a little too dumb to be believable so it got slightly annoying at parts.

The americans (2013-), is good early on and some moments in later seasons are decent but ultimately the whole show was frustrating because the male protagonist had great character development compared to the female protagonist who was an obnoxious bitch with not development from beginning to end and worse of all is she gets away with everything she did with no real punishment whatsoever

>angle frauding in every imaginable way
>skin removal scars across the whole body, aka zipper tits
>still has tons of flab
Reminder to never get obese, youngsters
There is a certain level of fatness, and once you go past it, there is no turning back

I went into it thinking "this has a 3-4 season premise, how the hell is it 6"
I came out if it thinking it really needed to be 3-4 seasons

I love Wilfred but I think they really dropped the ball with how outlandish they could have made it.
I like the idea at the end of episode one where he plants the wallet for Elijah Woods neighbor to find, the series would have worked better with that type of continuity. Forcing Ryan into more and more complex and weird situations so he can confront his depression or whatever.
Was cozy but it could have been way better.

It's extremely cursory examination of Eastern philosophy was disappointing. They should have shown Earl on the path to becoming a Bodhisattva.
>>
>>214415602
Yeah you could tell they were just running on fumes after 2 seasons. They should've just wrapped it up.

It's easily observable in pop culture of the period, Eastern philosophy was in vogue back then.

It was the daughter's storyline that turned me off. Maybe it gets more interesting but I stopped watching it around the time she was finding Jesus. From what I saw you're right on about the parents.

The concept could be used for something so much better than a mediocre romcom with reddit’s wet dream of a cast

This is a good example of a show that had a limited lifespan, but it became popular, so they wanted to milk it out.

That said, Earl going to jail was a logical step, considering the kind of a guy he was. It just was that they didn't really manage to get that much out from it. It actually felt more like a scenario, where the cast had different schedules, so they had to film them seperately because they had so little time to film stuff together.

All Talmudvision is filler to distract you from your country and life being destroyed by kikes.

Yeah that's true. I knew it wasn't gonna be anything really engaging but damn they really messed up around season 3. And yeah that was the same season when they pretty much made Randy retarded
