I barely ever watch anime but this one felt intriguing. Anyone here watched it? Is it a waste of time or genuinely good? The reactions online seem a bit mixed.

I had the series and watched it as a kid, and then I tried to watch it again later in life and it seemed like a completely different version of the story with the same characters, and it was shittier.

It feels rushed and underdeveloped, particularly the last few episodes. The animation is immaculate but outside of that i found it mediocre. Btw pirotess (the black elf girl everyone keeps posting) is barely in show itself
