Has anyone actually gone to one of those theaters that serve full-course meals? Are they any good? How about eating during the movie? Is it too dark to see?

*cutesy stare*

Women always have to make it about themselves.
>>
No. Seems like it would give me sensory overload or something. I'm imagining having to split my focus between eating my food before it gets stale or cold and paying attention to the movie, on top of the smells and sounds of other people eating while trying to be polite myself. Seems fucking awful actually.

If you don't smuggle your own food in you're a soulless slave.

How fucking obese do you have to be to be unable of abstaining from food for 2-3 hours?
Not to mention the abundance of snacks and popcorn with enough calories to last a man a day

Yep. It’s based.

Sports pubs already have big screens and eats. Movies can branch out
>>
>>214426937
I've done it a few times for big movie releases in the past. It's alright. Seeing isn't a problem, it's just like eating movie snacks except it's real food.
>>214427417
At the place near me the seats are way more spaced out than in a regular cinema. You pretty much can't hear anyone.

I went to Cosm LA to see The Matrix. There is a menu and they had a special Matrix tasting menu where they would bring out steak and noodles and a cookie during the film.

We did the tasting menu plus nachos and popcorn and sodas.

I've been to Cinebistro a few times. The seats are sectioned off in groups of two so you can't see your neighbors and you have a small light so you can see your food. It's honestly really nice for date nights. The food is decent but a little pricey. Sure I could make my own steak and watch kino on the home theater but it's a way better theater going experience than a regular cinema so it makes for a good night out.
>>
>>214427460
We have so many posters obsessed with shit like this indeed.
The rational thing is to never give a shit about a woman that you haven't met IRL before.
Anyways, what's your favorite movie with the actress in OP's post?

I know we meme about it but I'm not actually going to sneak crab legs into the theater. I sneak Burger King in sometimes tho.

>I sneak Burger King in sometimes tho.
I'd lose my shit if I sat next to someone uncrinkling a burger king wrapper because he can't go two minutes without stuffing his fat fucking face with food.
>>
I have a feeder fetish and most weekends my gf will prepare me an enormous meal (for example last weekend was a 10lb batch of curry and a few pounds of grapes and a quart of frozen yogurt for dessert) and we watch a movie as I eat it all, then I lie there and digest as she rubs my belly until the movie finishes. If I'm too full to move we might watch another movie or some youtube slop, otherwise we just have the sex when its done.

The point is if I was a normal person I wouldn't want to distract myself with food during the movie so I can't see why these would be popular if you actually want to see the film.

I stopped paying for cinema tickets after the insufferable disappointment of Inception; so it has been awhile, but the last several times me and friends went out to those diner cinemas and it was always enjoyable. Best is to get early and order, and eat during the trailers and fluff. Comfy seats and decent layout: ours was more of a standard cinema except the rows had more spacing for the bar/counter in front to eat from and a path for the waitress. Solid diner/bar food and drinks but not great value considering. Would still go to those if I gave a shit about cinema anymore.
>>214427460
Thanks for propagating!
>>214429253
That sounds like a neat setup, little personal booths and table, real nice for a date night. Only ones I went too were standard cinema rows although spaced out and they were alright for casual outings.

No, I don't go to cinemas anymore and I make the vast majority of my own meals unless it's a special occasion of some sort.
>>
Food at Alamo drafthouse is surprisingly good. It's pretty comfy, you can't hear other people eating
>>
>>214426937
i went to an AMC dine in theater one time. it was pretty good food. i got the fried shrimp. they gave a big portion and i didnt have any trouble seeing my food. it was very expensive tho and the menu is very limited
>>
Women should be displayed, like a nice vase in a living room.

OP, I applaud your thread. Ignore the other posters.
>>
>>214429522
I'm off mondays so I go to a near empty theater and sit in the top row. It's just myself, The King, kino, and a flask of bourbon. Indisputably the best kinoplex experience.
>>
>>214426937
i have one in my country, but honestly i never order the big meal, only ordering truffle fries since the rest of the menu are very expensive with gourmet-like portion
>>
>>214427526
I eat chili and sea bass like a refined kino enjoyer.

who is sticking hibiscus flowers on this shit italian dogfood?
>>
>>214426937
Yeah my wife and I have one we've hit up a few times. Serves drinks too, the boozy ones. Food's a bit overpriced for just being pretty good, but if you know that going in you can budget for it. We have fun.
>>
>>214427648
Getting your hands dirty and you can't pause the movie to wash up is why this hits a roadblock
