>somehow manages to make an entire bags worth of fulminated mercury
>throwing it on the ground causes an explosion for some reason
>somehow doesn't trigger the whole bag to explode
>building is all fucked up and windows are blown out but somehow no characters are actually injured
>walt is literally the closest to the explosion but suffers no injuries whatsoever aside from a nosebleed
>tuco lets him walk out with money instead of beating the shit out of him
>middle aged suburban white dude enters a cartel compound and somehow walks out with ease
>this is literally the sixth episode of the show

Bravo Vince.

Relax, this is a show that was meant for teenagers who were born between 1990-1999

Windows can be broken with anything. They are the most fragile things that exist.
>>
It's a cool scene but yeah, it makes no fucking sense. I do wonder if there's a way to make the explosion and aftermath more realistic.

the pressure wave frequency of the explosion of fulminated mercury just pass right through soft human tissue but stop at the hard concrete, it makes sense

it's one of those scenes where they try to make it cool but without thinking about what happens logistically

Breaking Bad is a live action "graphic novel"/GTA-style story. Accept it as that and enjoy it or don't.

>"You see Tuco, you made one little miscalculation"
>*flashback to Walt making fake meth*
>*Walt smiles like Kira*
>*camera cuts to Tuco's face in realization*
>*camera cuts back to Walt*
>"this is not....le meth"
>*Reminded by Drowning Pool starts playing*

>*cuts to Jesse in the hospital in pain*
>*cuts back to Walt*
>*Walt does a lunge 10 feet into the air, breaks into a quintuple backflip, and throws the fake meth at the ground creating an explosion*
>REMINDED OF YOU
>REMINDED OF YOU
>*Walt crashes to the ground and lands on one knee with his fist in the ground in a power pose*

He could have at least shown Walt dive behind the safe or something, since he knew what was coming, it could be written like Walt barely made it. He had cancer after all and would take the risk. Maybe even not have Tuco there yet, just some other lower level guy. He could kill everyone and take off with the gear, and have it so the Cartel aren't sure who did it with Walt staying in the shadows. Make the 'Heisenberg' persona develop a little earlier. This scene was far too retarded for a show that is supposedly so well written.

bet you think Soipranos and le Wire are "realistic"

>throwing it on the ground causes an explosion for some reason
That's exactly what fulminates do, dumbass.
And I don't know how powerful the explosion of that size of crystal would be, but the stupid part is that when mercury fulminate explodes, the mercury content is released as mercury cyanide which is exactly as bad to breathe in as it sounds. They'd all be dead from the poison, forget about the shockwave.

Tuco was impressed by the size of Walt's balls. It's like when Jabba finds it amusing when bounty hunters negotiate with thermal detonators
>>
If everything was true to life all the time things would get kinda dull.

Why didn't he just keep this bag with him wherever he went too

He could have wiped out the Nazis with a single chunk
