The main characters are written refreshingly like actual adults even though they're all colossal mental cases by design, and that grounds everything in reality despite it being fantasy-swinging capeshit. And it works even better in season 2 as they meet their non-mental case counterparts. I didn't hate Season 1. It grew on me in time. By the end, I honestly thought it was pretty decent.Season 2 episode 1 was incredibly garbage though. Utter slop cringe. Dropped it immediately.
