Booba>>214469944This was fun to watch in 3d
My October is getting sorted
>>214469944I think the only 2 movies I've seen in 3D were My Soul To Take & Saw 3D.
>>214470030I think i only saw Avatar in 3D. Those glasses suck. Bring back the OG 3D.
>>214469944I think this was the only film I've ever seen in 3D. I remember getting stoned before and watching it in the front row
>>214470078Sucks even more when you already wear glasses. The effect anyway really takes the sharpness out of the movie, everything looks too soft.
>>214469944>no true stereo version of Freddy's Dead in the new box setGoddammit...>>214470030>>214470116If you have a VR headset, you can enjoy 3D movies better then they've ever looked.
>>214470150I only want 3D if there's no headset, glasses, etc.
>>214470243
>>214470265Now use that technology on massive fucking OLED TVs
>>214470284I'm surprised they didn't>3D... is back!
>>214469944I saw this movie in 2D, so it just looked like shit and sucked ass
I'd give MBV remake a 5/10 and the original a 4.5/10.
>>214469944The guys that did this and Drive Angry 3D were going to do Halloween 3D at some point before it all got rebooted. I think there script is online somewhere >
>>214470383>WARNING: In this movie /you/ are the victim.I just won't watch it then
>>214470012Add Honeydew to it. I saw it last night. Pretty fucking good horror movie.
What if you could watch the Elvira movies in 4D smell-o-vision ha ha Just for fun
>>214470644
Has anyone here seen Honeydew? That was pretty good.
>>214470399I wish someone would bring horrors to my lap
>>214471014Yeah they didn't do a 3d showing for the re-release here either :(
>>214470460too late
Hatchet was a fun little slasher. Lots of marty’s gra booba, good effects, a bunch of funny parts, and a few good jump scares. The basically just straight up followed the slasher formula and it works. I think that’s the only downside. If you’re a slasher person you’ll like this, but if you’re just a regular horror person you’ll already have so much to choose from. Nothing makes it stand out to me really. It really just follows the formula. But it nails it.
Honeydew was a good horror movie.
kms
Even though films about a few people in a little spot having awkward interaction are so difficult for me to watch, I just love them. I got halfway through this and wondered if I was mistaken in thinking it is a horror movie, but then holy shit that third act was dark
Anybody think the Corey Cunningham actor kinda looks like Charlie Kirk? He even gets a neck injury.
>>214471338Watch Honeydew. It is like Speak No Evil. Better too.
>>214471526Honeydew was wild. Definitely in my top 20 now. Speak No Evil came out in 2022 and Honeydew came out in 2020 Honeydew was definitely better and influenced Speak No Evil
>>214471338They made a remake starring young Professor X and the chick from Stopmotion but I haven't gotten around to seeing it yet.
>>214471338Not a good movie cause the way the couple acted was too annoying. Your typical average betamale. Honeydew was better.
>>214471526>>214471614>>214471703I will now ignore your movie.
>Honeydew>starring Lena DunhamFuck, I need to stop replying to obvious bait.
>>214470644heard she filmed this after 8 hours of filming other scenes. the camera operator had to clip his nose
>>214471751>had to clip his noseWhat a little bitch
>>214471649they replaced the original ending with a generic "Hollywood" ending, just so you know
>>214471526>>214471703I'll watch Honeydew. Thanks.I didn't find Speak no Evil to be bad because the protag was a beta. It was central to the narrative. He even had a whole sequence about trying to overcome it. His passivity is ultimately what got his entire family killed. I always enjoy horror more with flawed protagonists.>>214471649I heard it wasn't as good. I'll have to give it a month or so before I check it out.
>>214471745No idea who that is but the movie was wild. If shit like Speak No Evil og and remake are so popular, then Honeydew should definitely be even more popular and well liked. Your loss.
>>214471856>HoneydewMovie also made me think of Tusk a little. Honeydew was much more enjoyable than Speak No Evil movies because they didn’t force the couple to be super normie average betamale cuck. At least the American remake removed some of that but honestly, the movie wasnt good overall. Honeydew, the look and feel of the movie was great from the start. Speak No Evil seemed to rely too much on making the viewer hate the couple.
good to see Argento made something decent after the 90s
>>214471856The movies relied too much on the couple being beta. Like way too much.
Here's my movie lineup for tomorrow morning:>Body Snatchers (1993)>Onsen Shark Attack (2024)>You Are Not Me (2024)
Are these 80’s posting from bots?
>>214471959These 80s posters you conjured up all live rent-free in your head kek
>>214471959No, they are real posters. Little do they know, they are the ones that prevent lively discussion and more anons from joining in. Imagine being a horror fan, coming in here and all you see are 80’s horror. You definitely know youre in the wrong place.
>>214471526I remember skipping this one because the reviews said it was jank. Maybe I should check it out.
>>214471898Haven't seen Tusk yet>>214471930I disagree. I haven't seen the remake, but in the 2022 Dutch film, while the protagonist couple were beta they were not entirely passive. They exhibited high-trust values of politeness and anticipated that their culturally similar national neighbors would share them. Even so, they initiated a number of confrontations against the miscegenist serial killers. The fact that the villains had a whole warehouse full of luggage from and photographs of the single child families they had murdered indicates they knew how to case their targets. The final undressing sequence brought it home that their conflicts of instinct and programming led them to lose their lives. That was the point.
>>214472035Reviews lol. It probably mogged too many high budget movies and reviewers are paid off in some way. (they are)>>214472040You havent seen Tusk? That movie relied on an annoying character too much too. > whole warehouse full of luggage from and photographs of the single child families they had murdered indicates they knew how to case their targets.I think youre looking too deeply into that scene. They just went after other families with a kid too. Thats it. lol. Anyways, out of Tusk and Speak No Evil movies, I preferred Honeydew.
>>214472120No, they spelled it out in the final sequence.>Why are you doing this to us?>Because you let me.The main characters' assertion of their boundaries but their failure to enforce them was the central subtext. idk if you're like me in that awkward exchanges are difficult to watch but you like watching films which feature them. Speak no Evil is awkward to watch in this way. I'll watch Honeydew tonight with muh dinner.
>>214472194>Because you let meSo it did rely on the couple being beta pushovers especially in the original version. Kinda like some people sitting infront of dangerous looking people on the subway irl.
>>214472219Speak No Evil original was too cringe and beta. It wasnt even natural.
>>214472219>So it did rely on the couple being beta pushovers especially in the original versionYes, like I said, it was the point of the movie.
>>214471745Who the fuck is Lena Dunham?
>>214472258she's the transsexual taylor swift poses next to to look hot. apparently she does some movies.
>>214471745>>214472258>chuds still living in 2012
>>214472270Its a he? I did not know that. Movie was wild
>>214472282they both are
>>214472282Yeah, /horror has many threads discussing how crazy and good the movie was. You really cannot trust critics.
>>214472299Everyone on /horror is saying it is one of the only movies that made them feel uneasy in a looong time. They are also comparing the protagonist of Honeydew to the Witch in Marianne.
>>214472258>>214472276lol I forgot all about that potato
Cool poster. I will watch it tonight.
>>214471217based. yeah it's almost surprising watching it because there's no twists or gimmicks, just big retard slashin.
>>214463836Look I warned you it's only for people who like slow j-horror like Kairo. Take some responsibility for your actions.
any furry horrors other than FNAF?
>>214472451No you didn't
>>214472000Good. Maybe you'll finally fuck off you brown freak.
>picture of reddit on a laptop taken on a phone>blatant samefagging
I wish we were an 80s thread when I think about how popular Ratman or Contamination would be
>>214472599Ratman looks like he could be Nosferatu's son kek
>>214472599I wish you rats would pretend you were as effective at operations as our maligned transexuals because of reasons
>>214472466Uhhh maybe I only did 9/10 times. I realized it's exactly the same as Kairo and that film splits a lot of people. My kino of the year anyway.
>>214472659don't lie to me faggot
>>214472630>>214472655You may not like it but this is what peak 80s performance looks like
>>214472550>>214472550> Good. Maybe you'll finally fuck off you brown freak
>>214472704I didn't know you were in any 80s horror! congratulations, you looked great, really.
>>214472723She was shocked too
>>214472710>IMG_2698Saaaaar bloody canada benchod basterd fuck
>>214472793that's what my poltergeist looks like when they/them possess a train in hindoostan
>>214472670It is what it is.
>>214472851Try to convince whoever is in charge of your battalion of keyboard disinformation specialists to let you watch Contamination for ways to subvert western harmony. I really think the ancient aliens people are your way in
Rent free
>>214472893I disagree. See I think you could be spared if you would just stop being such a faggot. Your continent should be redacted but if you get with the program we'll even marry you off to some white woman.
>>214472947Oh come on goo oozing alien eggs is a sure hit. This is why you're not in charge of which cold war plan to revive, you're ignorant of socioeconomic pressures. Tell your boss you should watch Contamination
BRAIN DAMAGE
>>214472990>>214472990Are you talking about Contamination from 1980? I don't have a boss but I'll take the rec. I thought you hated 80s films.>Oh come on goo oozing alien eggs is a sure hit. This is why you're not in charge of which cold war plan to reviveEnlighten me.
>>214473053That's the one. The plan's pretty explicit once they work out the importer. You just need to source the eggs, and that's going to be above your pay grade
>>214473088Well by the time I prepare and eat my evening meal, I won't be coming back to post in /hor/ until tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it. I was gonna watch that Lena Dunham movie but your suggestion looks a lot better. What are you talking about, though?
>>214473144i don't want to spoil it for you
>>214473209Ok
I'm gonna say the n word again
I’m gonna call everyone a jeet
>>214473285Nightbreed?
I'm going to identify a poster with his filenames and vernacular
