I enjoyed covenant's plot
It had a bunch of interesting ideas and that's the sole reason we rewatched many times, but overall the movies failed to deliver a coherent picture worthy of the alien universe.
I didn't. All the colonist characters were shit.
David is the most interesting character in the sequels. Arguably the most interesting character in the Alien franchise full stop. I enjoy both Prometheus and Covenant basically until the xenomorph shows up because after that it just feels forced and repetitive.
