considering the budget and scope yeah it's not bad at all but you have to be into halo on a more than surface level, iirc chief is in the show for like 5 minutes

I thought it was pretty decent. Not award winning material, but a solid movie that I've seen twice since it came out.
The reveal at the end of the Captain going into the pod anyway despite knowing it was going to burn him just to find John was fantastic.
