Trying to watch Lilo and stitch remake, here are my thoughts:>Pacing is too fast. Scenes from the original seem half as long as the original. Unnecessarily causing confusion. For example the scene where Lilo shoves her co-dancer off the stage immediately cuts to someone rushing her off stage. It went from Lilo pushing, cut, Lilo walls off stage. There's no reaction or even showing the result of the previous cutscene.>No single camera shot lasts longer than 2 seconds, disorienting the viewer>Social worker comes in and says the goals she wants nani to do is to pay her past due bills, buy a full fridge worth of groceries, and obtain health insurance all within 1 week>Dialogue is written from and for a very immature and shallow vocabulary audience and writer. "That's what I'm saying!" Often replacing the well written dialogue from the original>Male characters are just removed from the fill or replaced. Any remaining male characters are written to be idiots, only women in this movie show any signs of intelligence. This even extends to the aliens.>Nani wants to ride the cock carousal at college rather than raise her sister>Humour is all obnoxious middle school grade woman humour. Pleakly pressed against glass and making weird noise. One liner retorts obviously written to sound smart, but actually just make you eye roll from cringe. Trying to imagine anyone in this movie having a conversation with a functioning adult is breaking any immersion I'm only 26 minutes in
