Here's your table for the dinner show, bro
I would’ve gone if it was fifth element themed
>>214482527What do you think the weight limit is on that fold-out bed and did they consider the average size of Star Wars fans when they designed it?
>>214482563Does it play the sound of Voyagers warp core quietly in the background as you sleep?
>>214482527If paramount did this with Trek i would have went.

>>214483244Honestly, they should have sold the blue noodles from Andor.
>>214483686Yeah, they should've built a mag-lev pad and placed the bed on top of it.
>>214482570>>214482563>>214482527Have the people who designed this ever seen anything Star Wars related?
>>214483865what nobody watches that nerd shit
>>214483921>ha ha ha, you can't tell I'm a man because I've covered my adam's apple with a scarf
I’m surprised the Mouse didn’t have Jenny assassinated Boeing-style after her video
>>214483865The problem is that it actually is accurate. What I mean is Star Wars was made in the 70s and early 80s on a mostly shoestring budget. The Cantina is a cool thing to watch in a film but it's a fucking dump in actuality. It's why the general purpose experience in Disneyworld is princess castles and Main Street USA. Who would wanna hangout in The Death Star or The Black Pearl? Those places are basically Hell.
>>214484096The problem is that you're braindead. The room design does not follow any recognizable Star Wars design or motif. It's a generic fucking "scifi" room.If you're paying for a SW room (in that amount) then you want to see some Star Wars designs not some random shit you can't even place that doesn't even have recognizable design elements. If you woke up in that room without even knowing it's supposed to be a Star Wars hotel or whatever you wouldn't even know what the fuck it is supposed to be.It conveys fucking NOTHING.
>>214484076Well, even though she went in the first couple months, she dragged her feet and didn't release the video until 8 months after it closed (which means it took her ~23 months to actually do the video). It's hard for a company to give a shit about negative press when they've already written it off and already clearanced out/gave away most of the merch nearly a year prior. That said, it's almost a guarantee she won't be invited to anymore movie screenings.
>>214482570I really think this thing should have been like a $200 experience. You get 8 hours worth of fun scanning crates, talking to roleplayers, all that garbage plus a show where we feed you ends with the skip the line pass thing they gave out for both rides
>>214483244I think this probably looks worse in this photo than it did IRL. Food isn't shiny like that.
>>214484148>which means it took her ~23 months to actually do the videonot much motivation to make videos when you have thousands of simps on patreon who are all in love with you so they will remain subbed even if you do nothing
Alright, thanks! :)now i molest
This flopping is irrefutable proof that capitalism works.
>>214484136I think the tech is not there yet to have a truly sci-fi themed hotel like what they intended, at least at an affordable price. Imagine theme rooms that would look like a suite in Naboo or Coruscant or Kamino for instance with a bunch of imax-like sensors making it feel you were really there, that would be much cooler than a bunch of tiny "ship" rooms, but Disney has been set in milking the SW cow dry as quickly as possible ever since acquiring it and it finally looks like it happened.
>>214484076its all a big grift with alot of people that hate on disneyremember seeing some loyal disney goer make a huge rant video a little before epic universe opened got really pissed too, said disney will basically be out of business once epic universe opens and there's nothing they can do now because they've lost the good will of fansthat was followed a vid of him visiting the magic kingdom they know jenny and others that criticize them always come back no matter what. They could raise the prices ten times over and these people will return every time
>>214482570It should have just been a resort and the LARPing stuff should have all been optional activities
>>214482527they should have just dropped all the "immersive" shit and kept it as a normal themed hotel
>>214484383>they know jenny and others that criticize them always come back no matter whatIn /trv/ there's a theme park general and 80% of posts are critical of or deriding Disney theme parks by Disney fans - but the one thing they'll never do is not visit Disney parks anymore. I don't know why they bother complaining, they're the problem.
>>214484374it's literally as simple as getting the textures, colors, architectural elements, and some memberberry branding with cheap plastic shit on the wall. even fucking great wolf lodge can nail their theme and they're a nigger-tier theme hotel centered around the mindblowing attraction of "filthy public pool in a warehouse and 3 slides"it's really not hard at all, they're just incompetent, cheap, greedy, and not creative
>>214482570What the hell happened to their imagineers? Where are all the animatronics?
>>214482570>if only you knew how bad things really are
>>214482527>eh it got star wars as part of the name, this will be enough for it to sellsame logic applies to their general handling of the franchise
>>214482527It’s Frankfurt subversion. They have control of the money supply so it isn’t about profit. It’s about destroying Western institutions and demoralizing people.

>>214482563I want one of those.I used to sleep in the closet at my old place Becuase when I closed the door it was blackout dark and much quieter. The way we don’t design bedrooms for sleeping is pants on head retarded. Humans sleep best in a cave like room

>>214482527>What were they thinking?!?!?That Star Wars nerds grew up to have high-paying jobs and were willing to spend.
>>214484716>Jenny's a 17.5/10Yeah, that sounds about right.
>>214484434most of them genuinely want disney to listen to criticism and do betteras if iger himself is looking at fan forums and shit in his free time as if his successor is just going to say let the fans decide what we do nextI actually watched one of them go to universal and say he wasn't impressed by the houses, the brand new 10 or so houses plus new meet and greets around the parkbut went to not so scary at disney and defended the same show they've been running for 3 years straight that was a tribute to a D+ movie that bombed, extremely overpriced food, removal of more fun activities like pirate actors around the ride, and the lack of unique characters instead they're just oh guys it's only a 20 minute wait for this ride! now is the time to come all rides are just a small wait!
If you think this is bad, here's a fun story for you of disney executive incompetence. In 1995 the Disney CEO and board Chairman Michael Eisner hired Michael Ovitz, the founder and CEO of a very large talent scouting and actor management agency, to be a President at Disney, with the hope that Ovitz would soon replace Eisner as CEO of Disney. The board approved his hire for $24M, which was an extravagant sum at the time.Shortly after being hired, Ovitz began to clash with other executives, and even Eisner who had recruited him referred to him as a "psychopath with a character problem." It became clear that he wasn't the right fit for the company, and before even being there a year he was fired. However, he had a clause in his contract that if he was fired without cause he was entitled to a $138M severance package. Which he was paid, in full. This launched a derivative litigation against Disney (a lawsuit where the shareholders sue the company's board and officers on behalf of the company, for violating their fiduciary duty) which went to the Delaware Supreme Court. The court found that even though the board had acted with gross negligence to the shareholders in approving that employment contract and then firing him without cause, Disney's charter said its directors weren't liable for gross negligence, which they were legally allowed to do. So the shareholders had no recourse, and no directors or officers lost their jobs for this.
>>214485023>be company's chairman>about to retire >know that you can't be held liable for negligence >hire your buddy to be the company's president >add in a ridiculous 150 million golden parachute clause>fire your buddy for vague *clash of culture* reasons >split the 150 million termination clause >you retire, buddy is a company outsider so doesn't get any reputation hit>shareholders end up holding the bagHow is this anything but fraud?
>>214482563>>214483244You will share the podYou will eat the slop
>>214485085It wasn't fraud because in reality there was no sharing of the golden parachute. It was just a control freak CEO getting into a dick measuring contest, then saying "not my problem" when eye watering sums of the company's money were wasted.
>>214484096>People who pay ridiculous amounts of money to be in a star wars themed hotel and restaurant doesn't want it to be like the moviesDumbass
