Living in an a enthicncity for a very long time is interesting, when you are young you kind of enjoy the different languages, you think t is so hip, but as you get older you really start to hate foreigners and realize anyone speaking a different language is an invader.

Hey Arnold's city is supposedly based on Seattle and Portland in addition to Brooklyn. Apart from occasional references to stuff like the Pig War I don't see how, since it mostly just looks like Brooklyn, but that's what the creators claim.
