But it is all such casual low hanging fruit shit. The most entry level of and accessible of art that appeals to the most simplistic basic like childish impulses. There are often so many obvious flaws that are ignored. It is all so tiresome having to have a conversation about film with and having to say the obvious... The Star Wars trilogy isn't that good. Its hype vs its content is huge. The Empire Strikes Back is the only legit great film in the bunch. LotRs is NOT <I repeat> NOT the greatest trilogy ever. It has serious story problems, has too many useless plot lines... too often takes way too long to get where it is going. Nolan I must admit is a great film maker... but like QT he is massively overrated by the general public and tier 1 film bros who don't know shit about blocking, pacing or dialogue. Nolan is literally what Michael Bay would be if he had more talent and good ideas. And don't even get me started on anime.All i will say about anime is this... why is it you routinely put top anime films so much higher than top tier Disney, Pixar and stuff like The Iron Giant? They are just as good. You are simply trying to feel superior by picking something foreign as better, when it just isn't. It is different. That's all. Quit putting anime pussy on a pedestal
