>Was it really THAT bad?

I just got done watching the first 3 and it seemed like a perfect trilogy. Not sure how to feel about the 4th after I got done watching it.

There is no Toy Story 4.

The general "point" and the notion of child-created toys are interesting enough. The movie is inferior to the other 3 mostly because it's stuck on that era of Pixar movies that rejected traditional antagonists but couldn't really make the formula work.

Most /tv/ chuds hate it for the New and Improved Action Girlboss Bo Peep, but honestly that's not a problem on itself. The problem is that they retconned her as being like that originally as well, which is completely pointless and negates a development that could actually have been interesting. But of course implying that a female character was, at some point, not a badass was a big no-no.

That's still going on. They deify Ghibli and try to do the villain-defusing thing but just can't get it to work and their movies are consistently weaker for it.
