...Only to realize it's pretty shit later on?
When this came out it was peak, this was pre-Marvel universe pre-Deadpool. But now rewatching it, I've been so jaded by this type of humor and cheesy snarkiness being used that I barely enjoyed it.

I loved the scene where he blacked out his eyes
>>
The star wars prequels. The legos and videogames really clouded my judgement. But I am now enlightened to the fact that every single star wars movie is hot dookie

Was not a fan.
Sky High holds up better.

>fact
That's not how it works. Entertainment quality and enjoyment is subjective.

>What was a movie you thought was kino when you were younger?
>...Only to realize it's pretty shit later on?
This happened to me with 99% of movies, after watching Hollywoodism and realizing that every single movie to have come out of the US in the last 120 years has been propaganda, not even that great of propaganda.

The only movies I liked and still like is British theatre and British teleplays.

I thought this was kino when I was like 18, then I watched it with my chud friends when they made me a semi chud and I thought it was cringe. Then I rewatched it later on in my late 20's like 4 years ago with my ex, and I realized it's still good as long as you realize the main girl is cringe, and Frank is the based one

Even with something like pic related, there might be a broad consensus that it's bad among those who have seen it, but that's still a collection of subjective opinions. Not an objective fact.
>>
>>214493792
Loved it then. Still love it now.
>>

It is. I hope that you one day grow out of these childish banalities, for your sake.
>>

Think of all the combined years dudes on here spent simping for a refrigerator. It gave us that valet reaction pic tho.
>>
>>214494876
The childish thing is to assert that your opinion of something is a fact as a way of being contrarian.
If a Star Wars enjoyer asserted that Empire Strikes Back being good is an objective fact, I would disagree with that too

That movie was pretty alright, it's just the sequel was so bad it kinda ruins the first one in retrospect. Same goes for the comics, really.
>>
>>214494566
Whatever gets you through the day mam
>>
>>214493865
Nah, it's just the fucking prequels. The OT is top dog. Sorry, Arjun, your strategy is stupid.

Why is the helicopter swooping within biting range of the shark?
>>
>>214495403
Doesn't matter, everything on that cover is a lie. There is no cocaine and no shark and there are no rescue helicopters or boats in that "movie". There isn't even a scene on the water at night, as they try to depict there
>>
>>214495524
There’s no sharks in the movie? Uh ok what’s it about, basket weaving?

Rented it over and over again every week but it turns out it was a movie, it was a random VHS with 2 episodes on it but there was no way i couldn't have known that.

That shit was such campy kid fodder but I did enjoy it nonetheless. Coach Campbell had me rolling.
>>

It's about a fictional drug derived from a gland in shark bodies. People lie in bed while taking the drug and talking about it.
And there is SORT OF a shark, but it's debatable whether it counts as such. It's this hammerhead-lobster hybrid plastic creature
